Amazing food for the price! And the ladies working were super friendly! the home fries were perfectly seasoned, all-around amazing breakfast , definitely coming back for more!.

After living in the Hammer for 5 yrs now, I thought I have been to most of breakfast / brunch restaurants in my area. Looking to find this great gem of a place located in a very uncommon area. Near the Arcelormettal Plant 3 is Eggsellent. Walking in is bright and inviting. Enough seating that is not too big but just right to be that cozy little spot you have a coffee and some thing to eat. Staff are friendly and helpful. Menu has all the breakfast staples plus some lunch menu items as well! Rotating daily features are also a plus. Food portions are very generous and the homefries are fire!! Definitely coming back!! 5 stars!

Perfection! I've been twice now. The price is great. The food is even better. Definitely recommend the chef is a pro. I love the Hollandaise sauce. Everyone is extremely welcoming they work hard and fast!!. Thank you so much, and we will return

Eggsellent? Excellent! Heading elsewhere for breakfast, my quick thinking partner proposed a trip to Eggsellent at last. My partner had the House Special, which was filling enough that I got some as well. I had the Sunday French toast special. Both orders came with extremely delicious, flavourful home fries. Decent coffee, with refills! We were both very satisfied with our meals and left completely full. I really felt that in spite of the inflation we've all been struggling with, the prices and portions were more than reasonable, particularly compared to fast food joints. Friendly attentive accurate service. Retro music videos playing added to the upbeat vibe.

Found this place via google search and I was pretty amazed. Nice and quaint little restaurant serving huge portions for the price. The food was pretty tasty, staff were friendly and the service was very fast. I had eggs, bacon, sausage and ham with toast and fries. I took the left overs to go and mage myself a ham sandwich for lunch. Will definitely be going again. Big thumbs up.

We came in From out of town. Needed a breakfast spot, and choose this place from Googles list, solely fir the play on words name. Such a cute little find. Absolutely horrible parking lot. Plus a white car was parked right at the lots entrance, right at the corner leading in. Against posted signs as well. Made it difficult getting in. Food was awesome. Bacon was cooked to perfection. Home fries were perfectly crispy. My only negative besides the parking. Was there was only 2 staff on duty. We were the only ones in there at first. Both employees were very welcoming and polite. But shortly after 2 other tables came in. Then 3 separate orders to their joined pizza shop. Once we got our food, we didn't see the waitress again. I would have liked another drink. At one point both staff members were in the pizza side working. Leaving the eggsellent side unattended. We sat for 15 minutes after we finished eating for our bill. We definitely could have walked out with out being noticed. Definitely a Dimond in the rough. Will be back again I'm sure.

I had a wonderful first visit to this place. The food was delicious and fast. I ordered two pancakes, two sunnyside eggs, bacon, peameal bacon, orange juice, water, and home fries. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted fresh. The pancakes were fluffy, and the eggs were slightly steamed on top. The bacon was crispy, and the peameal bacon was juicy. The orange juice was cold, and the water was clean. The home fries were seasoned and crunchy. The restaurant was neat, and the staff was polite. They checked on me regularly and refilled my drinks. I liked everything. The prices were fair for the quality. I paid a reasonable amount for my meal and it was worth it. I suggest this place for takeout and the cozy tables they have. The dining area was small but comfortable and had a nice ambiance. I will definitely come back here again.
